Funeral services can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue that the family chooses. We work with families to design a service that honors their loved ones with stories, music, or scripture. Richardson Funeral Home also has life celebrants leading services where a clergy may not be the chosen option for the family. Our celebrants are trained to create experiences that help start the healing process.
This time is set aside for family and friends to gather and say goodbye while being in the comfort of those closest to them. Visitations are personalized with a tribute video for your loved one, or by having personal items or photos displayed to further commemorate the deceased. We will work closely with you to design the perfect gathering experience for your family.
Richardson Funeral Home offers traditional casket burial services that can be customized to the needs of the grieving family. Our funeral home offers options for:
Whether you’d like a public or private service, or a combination of both, you and your loved ones get to decide how you wish to pay your respects.
A graveside or committal service is typically held immediately after the funeral service. It can also be a small intimate gathering of those who are closest to you.
Followed by Cremation
With a traditional service combined with cremation, you can still have a final viewing, visitation, or wake and a funeral service. However, instead of in-ground burial, the funeral will be followed by a cremation. Depending on your wishes, the cremated remains may be returned to your family for storage in an urn, scattered, or interred in a columbarium. This option will include fees for the funeral services as well as the cremation itself.
Memorial services can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue that the family may choose. We offer services that are designed to include stories, music, or scripture that honors your loved one. In cases where the family may not choose a clergy to lead the service, we offer life celebrants that are trained to help start the healing process for the family.
Our staff will help you navigate through any grave marker, cemetery, or memorial needs. As a part of the process of laying a loved one to rest, Richardson Funeral Home will coordinate with the cemetery and monument company of your choice for you. This does not include the purchase of a burial plot or columbarium niche on your behalf. However, the funeral director will coordinate with the cemetery of your choice to ensure that your previously selected choices are ready and the services can run smoothly. Additionally, we will take care of submitting your wishes for the grave marker to the monument company so you don’t have to do so.
The death of a loved one brings a lot of legal documentation. That is why Richardson Funeral Home is here to help you work through all of these documents. We will assist you in:
